What Do You Get With SchoolHouse Teachers?
This site offers an incredible amount of content, plus bonus extras like video steaming access with RightNowMedia, and access to the online the WorldBooks encyclopedia site. RightNowMedia is a Christian streaming site with loads of high-quality programs for kids, teenagers and adults. World Books itself, normally costs $250 per year to subscribe to. Apart from the information side of the World Books site, you can find educational games for all ages and subjects. Let me give you a breakdown of what else this self-paced homeschool site offers.
If you are a new homeschool educator, or a tired one looking to do less curriculum planning, Schoolhouse Teachers offers all-in-one School Boxes for each grade level. These boxes are available from pre-k, all the way up to grade 12. The School Boxes are virtual, not physical workbooks. You get a full curriculum guide for each subject in the School Box, and directions for where to find each course within the Schoolhouse Teachers site. Most of the courses are in PDF format, however some courses do have video components.
If you’d rather mix and match individual courses or units across the site to make your own curriculum, there are so many options available. There are simply too many subject courses and units to list in this blog. Check out this teeny tiny snippet from the Language Arts unit studies! My favourite subject! These PDF guides are filled with fun ideas to accompany the books, or vocab work and discussion questions. I’m so excited to do them all!
You also gain access to the Interactive Schoolhouse Teachers courses. We haven’t completed any of these yet, but they look incredible for independent learning when the kids are a bit bigger.

All of the courses come with printable completion certificates, which children love. What a great way to keep a record of learning and give children a sense of achievement.
Excellent Customer Service
I have had to contact SchoolHouse Teachers a couple of times with some questions. Seeing as they are based in the U.S. I only got in touchh with them by e-mail rather than site chat or telephone. Their customer service is wonderful.
Don’t Miss Out
You just can’t get better value for money than what is offered here. This BOGO sale was more affordable than my Chrisitian streaming and online art class subscriptions combined. The Schoolhouse Teachers site gives me video art courses and streaming with RightnowMedia, PLUS this amazing amount of content that I can build two years of curriculum with at A$16.50 per month. For me it was a no-brainer, and I’m so glad we took the plunge several months ago and bought our BOGO subscription.
